They are still a collection of disparate, disconnected apps that are built primarily for the desktop, lack real-time data, and are highly ineffective in bringing teams together in any meaningful way - leading to a heavier reliance on emails, attachments and content versioning that ultimately slows productivity. Unfortunately, collaboration solutions have largely remained stagnant. Teams expect fully connected, always on, mobile-first experiences that enable them to work together, faster. The collaboration suite has not kept pace with the way teams work today. "Quip's addition of Slides, new Live Apps and deeper Salesforce integrations are a significant step in delivering those experiences." ![]() "Customer experiences and employee experiences are demanding the same easy-to-use technology at work, that they already use at home," said Wayne Kurtzman, Research Director, IDC. "Quip fuels a culture of action-combining documents, spreadsheets and now slides with chat, live data and AI-allowing our customers to work faster and be more productive." "The introduction of Quip Slides is a game-changer for our customers," said Kevin Gibbs, co-founder & CEO, Quip. Additionally, with deeper Salesforce and third-party integrations with Box and Dropbox, teams can embed even more live data and tools within Quip. It will save you a ton of time and make it much easier for new flow users to learn how to use the tool. Let’s say you had a loop called ‘lead_loop’, Flow Builder will automatically create a resource called ‘Current Item from lead_loop’. For example, if the flow loops through a collection of lead records, then a single lead variable will be used as the loop variable.įlow Admins now have the option to have the loop variables automatically created when they create a loop (a huge personal peeve of mine was creating them manually). The loop is based on a collection of variables and the actions will repeat for each of the records in a loop (or until the loop is broken).Ī loop variable is an individual item from a loop that needs to be handled individually. This is helpful in situations where a user will start using a flow and may need to continue it later.Ī Flow Admin can use a loop element to repeat a set of actions almost infinitely. Each time that flow is started by the user clicking on the action, it creates a new flow interview.Ī Flow Admin can allow a flow to be paused and resumed. ![]() For example, let’s say a Flow Admin had created a screen flow that is called from an action on the account page. The debug tool makes it super easy to test your flows.Īn interview is essentially an instance of a flow running. The Debug Details in the right-hand-side panel will show a step-by-step breakdown of what actions are occurring, what variables are being referenced, what calculations are running, etc. Flow Admins can use the built-in debug tool to make sure their flows are running correctly prior to leaving the Flow Builder.
